At building-up a portfolio also the warranties and the safety factors can define our investment policy besides the yields. Such safety asset fund is also the Warranted asset fund 2011, which has a fixed expiration date and it is a miscellaneous asset fund, the date of which expiration is: 12.February 2011.

The insurance company warrantes the minimum bid price of the investment units bound to the Warranted asset fund 2011, which are valid at expiration of the asset fund in advance, this is called garanteed closing price. The insurance company does not decrease the garanteed closing price under any circumtances, but the insurance firm can increase it under advantageous market circumtances. The insurance firm undertakes further to increase the closing price of investment units bound to Warranted asset fund 2011, if the actual bid price of investment units bound to Warranted asset fund 2011 is equal to the even valid closing price. So the closing price of investment units bound to the asset fund can not be lower, than the highest bid price reached during the existence of the asset fund. The garanteed closing price is valid for all investment units, regardless when and at which price they were purchased.

Thie is a closed-end asset fund started by the Generali Fund  Management in 2001, with ten-year maturity, which has mostly Hungarian government papers, in smaller proportion Hungarian and international stocks in its portfolio – to the extent necessary to provide the garantee-level, in continously changing composition -, it started originally with garanteed closing price of 1,2 HUF / investment unit. At present the garantee-level is 1,798 HUF / investment unit.
